Machinery Breakdown
The cover is intended to provide compensation to the insured in the
event of the plant and machinery insured being damaged either by some
extraneous cause or by its own breakdown.
Contractors “All Risks”
All types of construction projects are exposed to a number of hazards,
which are both general and specific, to the type of works involved. This
is an “All Risks” type of policy, which usually covers the losses due to
most types of unforeseen circumstances. The policy is usually designed
to cover the following major sections:
The total value of the Contract
Construction Machinery, Plant and Equipment; Removal of Debris; Existing Property of the Principal; Liability to Third Party (Bodily Injury/Death or Property
Damage) Other optional items may also be included in the policy, if
required.
